Planning to buy Office 365 for business, pl advise user management

Hello,

I was asked to post here by Chat Support, please excuse errors, if any.

I want to purchase Office 365 for Business. I understand that I can install it on 5 PCs. However, it seems I cannot use the 5 PCs simultaneously. Is that right?

If so, and I have to purchase 5 licenses, do I need to create a "microsoft account" such as Hotmail / Live / something, or do I use my existing hotmail account on all 5 PCs?

Is "Microsoft account" something different from Hotmail, etc account?

Pl advise,

regards,

Hi,

For Office 365 Business, each user should be able to install Office on 5 PCs. I've never seen issues like "However, it seems I cannot use the 5 PCs simultaneously." May I know what makes you believe so? You should be able to open and use, let's say Word, on multiple PCs simultaneously with no issue.

"Is 'Microsoft account' something different from Hotmail, etc account?"

- When you have a Hotmail account, you have a Microsoft Account. A Microsoft Account provides Email service, which is Outlook.com(previously Hotmail.com), but also many other Microsoft services like OneDrive, Skype and so on:
