I have an ongoing problem with banded rows not working in Powerpivot generated pivot tables.
When I select a table format that includes banded rows, the formatting does not get displayed in the table.
Is there a solution to this?

Hi,
Could you tell us what is the version of Excel?
I want to confirm that if you select table format from Home > Style > Format as table. If not, please share more information about how do you apply table format.
Could you please upload screenshot and share the link here? As soon as I receive it, Ill provide further support.

Hi Greta,
This is a flattened pivot table created with Excel 2010 and PowerPivot. PowerPivot formats it as a table by default.
To change the table format, the format selections are under PivotTable Tools > Design. I can change color schemes but the banding option - which is important for readability, is not affected by changes to the color scheme. Clicking banding on and off has no effect on the table format.
How do I upload a screen shot from my desktop? The insert image function is looking for a URL.
Thanks.
Brian.
