PhotoGallery Error 1706
On booting up, every time I receive a prompt to install "Office 2000 CD ROM", prompting me to do something related to PhotoGallery and Windows Installer. It prompts also to enter a number in a box. An "Error 1706" message appears as well. I don't have any "Office 2000 CD ROM". I click cancel/end/etc., and it finally goes away. I have tried MS Support online, and found an apparently relevant Question/Resolution hit, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839438/en-us. I cannot make any sense of this. I have Windows XP Professional. Neither Microsoft nor HP computer OEM, will provide support. Can you suggest how to fix this problem? Cordially, Richard Junker richardjunker@tampabay.rr.com

Richard, did you ever get this sorted out, as I've got the same issue? Regards Paul Robinson
