In Outlook I deleted an old POP folders containing emails that I did not need any longer. My present email account is IMAP and I get this pesky message constantly that reads:

Your IMAP server wants to alert you of the following: Fatal error: Not a directory

Otherwise Outlook works fine and it syncs perfect via iCloud

But that window pops up every minute or so - Thanks in advance

Have you checked the event log? Is there any information regarding this issue?

In addition, we may try to create a new mail profile in Control Panel > Mail, and then reconfigure your email account in the new profile to see the result. For your convenience:
