Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office %username%

Hi gang,

I'm building an image  using the MDT 2013 with Windows 8.1 and "Office Pro plus 2013" and Office 2013 doesn't seems to be recognizing the variable %username% to add the username "Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office "    what it shows now it's User name : %username%

I'm also using the OCT to customize the Office 2013 MSP file.

This used to work with "Office 2007" on "windows 7".

Hi Statcan,

How exactly did you configured this? I would suggest you try below approach which reportedly works for other people:

Make a package with no source files, and create a program with just the following command line:

"reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\Common\UserInfo /v UserName /d %username% /f"

Hope this helps.
