Permissions needed to update SPN's on an Exchange Server 2003 sp2
I have configured Exchange Failover Protection on our Exchange servers using Double Take. However i am getting a permissions error: "The Target server does not have sufficient permissions within the domain to update service principle names (SPN's) for the source server on failover. This will prevent failover from functioning properly. You must update the appropriate permissions in Active Directory before preceding" The thing is that the tool allows you to fix the problem, however after 20 minutes of so it goes back to displaying the same mssage. There is nothing in Group policy that i have set to cause this. What are the permisions needed to update the SPN's? Many thanks

Have you tried contacting double-take? I saw something similar at a customers one time and they had to call the DoubleTake support people for the fix. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the fix was.
