Permissions issue with Resource mailboxes and OWA
Stupidest behaviour that I just can't trace. I am in a Global Group called Mail Administrators. This group is in the Full Access for every mailbox, including the resource mailboxes. I can add the resouce mailbox in Outlook, go through the inbox, sent items etc. If I try and open the mailbox in OWA, I get this error: You do not have permission to open this mailbox. I add my individual account to the Full Access list, and I can now open the mailbox in OWA. I REMOVE my individual account from the Full Access list, and I can STILL open the mailbox in OWA. Exchange 2007, SP1, Rollup 5 for SP1. Ideas, comments?

Hi,I suspect somthing delayed, please try to test the issue again.Besides,please try to create a new account and then grant full access rights to the resource mailbox and then test the issue again.Regards,Xiu

I am experiencing the exact behavior that you described. Also using Ex 2007/SP1 Rollup 5, also have a global group assigned with Full Access perms, still receive the dreaded "You do not have permission to open this mailbox" error. Did you ever find a reasonable answer on this ? thanks in advance
