PerformanceLogsToBeProcessed Logs not truncating

hi there,

On my Exchange servers, all is ok however my Diagnostics folder these logs are always filling up, where can I check retention thresholds??

Hi,

Please follow these steps to set Maximum root path size for ExchangeDiagnosticsPerformanceLog under \PerformanceLogsToBeProcessed folder.

  1. In Administrative Tools, open Performance Monitor. Expand Data Collector Sets and click User Defined .
  2. In the console pane, right-click ExchangeDiagnosticsPerformanceLog and click Data Manager.
  3. On the Data Manager tab, choose Maximum root path size and set the size you want to configure.
  4. Click OK.

Maximum root path size: The maximum size of the data directory for the Data Collector Set, including all subfolders. If selected, this maximum path size overrides the Minimum free disk and Maximum folders limits, and previous data will be deleted according to the Resource policy that you choose when the limit is reached.
