Password protecting zip folder instead of individual files contained inside

Hi,

I have bulk (maybe 10 or so) of Word files to insert into a zip folder for sending on to a client.  Can I password protect the zip folder instead of password protecting each and every file (which is time-consuming - just trying to save time here!).  If anyone can help that would be great.  I don't want to start encrypting stuff - think just password protecting the folder the files are in would work a treat if poss.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Your request could be done via third-party zip program. Please see this link:

Hi,

I wanted to try and avoid doing this - thanks anyway.  Maybe there's a way to protect the documents en masse somehow?
