Password expiration notice in Outlook

I have Exchange 2013 (on-premises) running on Server 2012 R2. The default password expiry for the users is 30 days. I know that Office 365 Email accounts alerts the users on Outlook (Windows) to change the password, I would like to know if it's possible to achieve the same notifications for Exchange 2013 hosted on-premises. I am assuming this is something to do with the Exchange Web Services.

Thanks,

Thanks. I am not looking for third party tools at this point, trying to implement this within the Exchange Server.

Hi,

You may consider to use PowerShell script to send email notification on password expiry in AD.

Hope this will be helpful for you.

Best Regards.

Hi Lynn,

Thanks, I am aware of these scripts already. I am not sure if you have tried mapping Office 365 accounts to your Outlook, Office 365 accounts alerts you with password expiry notifications on Outlook. I am trying to get the point how different it is compared to Exchange hosted on-premises as I would like to implement the same on my environment.
