PTR ?
If the PTR record is wrong ...will that stop ALL incoming email in exchange 2007 ?

Yes (but not all), certain SMTP servers (likeAOL.com, Qwest.net, Mindspring, Earthlink, Hotmail ect..)performs reverse lookup on the incoming message and in case, PTR record does not existor is incorrectthen destination SMTP server does not deliver the message.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300171Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
