POP log file and PowerShell cmdlet shows different logon time for same user
Exchange 2010, Windows Server 2008 DC POP log file and PowerShell cmdlet (Get-MainboxStatitics) shows different logon time for same user Eg: User1 in POP log file, the last logon time is 20 Dec 12:30:12 GMT. The powershell show incorrect time record 25 Nov 2011 06:32:45 GMT +5:30 hours Is this normal behavior? How exchange updates the last logon time, if the user access his email via POP? Please help me on this

Hello, Does this user also use MAPI to log on the mailbox? If so, this behavior should be normal. Thanks, Simon

Thank you This issue seems to be an expected behavior in Exchange 2010 environment. I could reproduce the same in my Exchange SP1 LAB environment. It was not the same in previous exchange versions the lastlogontime used to get updated with POP logons as well. But this behavior has changed in with Exchange 2010. I tried to look for any filed bugs with similar issue but could not find any.
