POP3 only able to receive, but can't send(server issue)
Hi, I'm Ranjith junior exchange administrator in an MNC. In our company we are facing an issue with outlook POP3 configuration, which we are not able to send. We have 5 Exchange servers(in different locations) and for all one frontend server. Out of 5 server, for users mailbox in four servers they have no issue.....POP3 working excellent. But only for the users in 1 server(out of 5) they are facing the issue.....can only able to recieve. If they try to send from their POP3 configured Microsoft Outlook they are getting the below error. Task 'OWA URL- Sending' reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Unable to send the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 454 5.7.3 Client does not have permission to submit mail to this server.' Please advice on this, all the users one complete location not able to use POP3. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ranjith, Go to Accesstab of the Default SMTP Virtual Server in ESM and make sure that "Allow all computers which successfully authenticate to relay, regardless of the list above" checkbox is enabledfor the server which is giving problem.

Hi, Please go to access control in Access tab of the Default SMTP Virtual Server in ESM, and check Anonymous access Basic authentication and integrated Windows Authentication, then test the issue again. Please also try to manually telnet to your server to see if it works.
