POP3 connector in MS-Exchange
Dear All,Trust me your doing a grate job and wish you and your family a very great new year..!!My query is if we deploy MS-Exchange 2003 or 2007 then we have publish our domain to let's assume godaddy.com as a POP3 service then when external user sends mail to our domain then it will go to godaddy.com and i want my POP3 configured connector on MS-Exchange server to fetch those mails to my MS-Exchange server. I'm aware with the 3rd Party POP3 Connector which we can use it with MS-Exchange like EFS POP3 connector.I want to know that is there inbuild facility in MS-Exchange to fetch POP mails without using 3rd party application.Awaiting for your response. Thanks & regards,Arjun

With Exchange 2003 on SBS 2003 and Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008, there is an inbuilt facility:SBS 2008: Introducing the POP3 Connectorhttp://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2009/07/01/sbs-2008-introducing-the-pop3-connector.aspx Configuring Incoming and Outgoing Email for Windows Small Business Server 2003http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Configuring-Incoming-Outgoing-Email-Windows-Small-Business-Server-2003.html For all other versions of Exchange you have to use a third-party tool, such as Eclarsys PopGrabber (Basic version is free!)http://www.eclarsys.com/popgrabber/ MAPILab POP3 Connector for Exchange 2007http://www.mapilab.com/exchange/exchange_pop3/ eXchange POP3http://www.exchangepop3.com/?type=GoogleAdWordsContent SmartPOP2Exchange - POP3 / IMAP Connector for Exchange and SMTP Servershttp://www.jam-software.com/smartpop2exchange/index.shtml?gclid=CNHosvvdgJ4CFcts4wodAgWWqw&cp=GoogleAdvertisement&cp_kwd=SmartPOP2Exchange_EN IGetMailhttp://www.igetmail.com/?source=google_pop3connectortext&gclid=CJWdzPzdgJ4CFYIA4wodX120oQ MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M | Small Business Specialist
