POP3 Login problem
I have a 3rd party app which logs into Exchange using a POP3 account to check for incoming mail. I have created a new user in active directory and allowed it to create an exchange mailbox, however when the third party app attempts to log in, exchange returns an error indicating that the userid or password are incorrect. If I use an existing account, it logs in fine, so I know connectivity etc. is OK. I've checked the user id and reset the password but same result. What else can I look at to find out why it wont let the third party app log in?
