POP3 Email Recovery
Good Morning, We are currently using Microsoft Exchange Sever 2000 with POP3 for our emails - we are a small sized business with around 20 users with their own mailboxes. I am aware POP3 isn't the 'recommended' email format for such a network, however this will soon change as we move our servers in late August. Our email system is somewhat (understatment) unreliable, each week we have a new problem. The main one is that certain (not all) users cannot receive any external emails - they come into the server for distribution but then suddenly disappear - leaving no errors. Is there any way in which we can find these 'lost' emails? I've not much experience working with Exchange 2000 so any guidance would be greatly appriciated! Many Thanks, MT

You can track the message with message tracking if it is enabled on server. The Exchange Message Tracking Center If mails delivered to Inbox and got deleted from there then you can try to recover from OWA. Can I recover deleted items through Outlook Web Access (OWA) in Exchange 2003? Can I recover hard-deleted items through OWA?
