Personally I'm not aware of any registry settings or other obscure tweaks that let you increase timeout values on the POP Connector. You should address that question in one of the SBS 2008 forums. You could also look into "Email Rejected Due to Protocol Errors (Invalid Headers) and see if that helps"SBS 2008: Introducing the POP3 Connector http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2009/07/01/sbs-2008-introducing-the-pop3-connector.aspx Since you are using POP3 with plain text, Microsoft Network Monitor 3.3 can give you some more clues:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=983b941d-06cb-4658-b7f6-3088333d062f&displaylang=en If none of this helps, you could try one of the 3rd party POP3 connectors, and see if they are more robust. Most, if not all, install as service that retrieve the mail and forward them to Exchange through SMTP. Thereby you can take advantage of your antivirus and anti-spam filters. There are trial editions, and the Eclarsys PopGrabber has a basic version is free. (There are more POP3 /IMAP4 downloaders around than provided in the link below.)POP3 connector in MS-Exchangehttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/exchangesvradmin/thread/061d064d-1ca4-4e91-88b6-b1d80c7d1ae8 Then of course, as you are likely to hear in the SBS forums: This POP3 connector is only meant as an interim solution. Use SMTP instead.SBS 2008 News Grouphttps://connect.microsoft.com/default.aspx Smallbizserver Forumshttp://www.smallbizserver.net/Default.aspx?tabid=53 MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M | Small Business Specialist

Thanks for your answer, but with updating the HP network driver the problem could be solved Regards, Raphael
