PF replication problems...
Hi All,I am having problems with one Exchange server in our organistation not having Public Folders replicated to it.We're running EX2K3 SP2 on 9 servers which are running WIN2K3R2. All other servers except one installation are replicating without any problems. When I try to replicate either System folders or Public folders, I get the following error message appear in the application event logs of both PF host and destination servers:Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: MSExchangeIS Public StoreEvent Category: Replication Errors Event ID: 3093Date: 17/04/2007Time: 21:28:09User: N/AComputer: NAME_REMOVEDDescription:Error -2147221233 reading property 0x67010003 on object type tbtOwningFolders from database "First Storage Group\Public Folder Store (NAME_REMOVED)". And also:Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: MSExchangeIS Public StoreEvent Category: Replication Errors Event ID: 3093Date: 17/04/2007Time: 16:03:06User: N/AComputer: NAME_REMOVEDDescription:Error -2147221233 reading property 0x674b0014 on object type tbtMsgFolder from database "First Storage Group\Public Folder Store (NAME_REMOVED)". From the research I've done so far, postings seem to suggest ignoring these messages in the event log. Unfortunately, I'm not getting any Public folder replication at all.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Cheers...Kris.

You should start out by tracking the pf replication messages to and from your PF servers. The emailaddresses of the public folder servers can be found in ADSI-edit on the publicfolderstore objects in the configuration partition. Also increase diagnostic logging for public folders. Cheers, MArk

Mark...thanks for getting back to me.I've increased the logging as you mentioned, as a result of doing this I get the error messages mentioned previously populating the application event log on both servers. Also, I have tracked messages sent from working-is@domain.com to notworking-is@domain.com and notworking-is@domain.com to working-is@domain.com and there are message flowing in both directions.Does this give you any idea? Thanks again....Cheers,Kris

mmmm difficult to say. Run a ISINTEG on the pubstore... Any chance of throwing away the public folder store on the disfunctioning server and recreating it at a later time? Cheers

Hi,I've already ran ISINTEG against the non replicating PF store....no errors. I hate to think this, but I'm sure it will be a case of deleting the PF store and starting again. Should be interesting? Thanks for the advice.....Kris.
