Overactive IMF
I am running Inteligent Message Filtering on a 2003 Server. The server and Exchange both have the latest updates as of 12/15. When I am sent an email from public email services such as hotmail, yahoo and gmail it gets blocked. Running a message tracking shows that the message was deleted by the Inteligent Message Filtering. This is not a good thing because of course some of my clients use the free email services. has anyone experianced this and is there any suggestions for a fix? All help appreciated.

Updated info: When I set the IMF ratings for SCL and Move to above 6 the messages come thru but there is a spike in the spam received. Also I discovered this In November after allowing WSUS to install an October IMF update

Welcome to the problematic world of SPAM. there is not much that you can configure in Exchange 2003 version of IMF unless you use some add such as http://www.windeveloper.com/imftune/ In Exchange 2007 there is much more you can configure regarding Content Filter (new name for IMF)
