Outlook web access
We have OWA enabled on our exchange server, I want to make this as secure as possible at the moment we connect from outside the local network by typing http://mail.mydomain/exchange I understand that I can enable HTTPS how do i impliment this? WE currently run 1 x Windows 2003 Server STD (Domain Contoller) 1 x Windows 2003 Server STD (Exchange 2003) we have 1 external IP address my DC forwards port 80 traffice to the exchange server Please advise whats the best way to set this up

1. Install ssl certificate on your IIS server. You can use Enterprise root CA, 3-rd party CA or SelfSSL http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Creating-Certificate-OWA2003-SelfSSL.html 2. Forward 443 port instead of 80

You could, beside the previous post, also make sure you do NOT ever use standard ports! Type Configure OWA or something in google or MSN search and you will find hundreds of links to assist you
