Outlook syncing problem or cannot download address book
I made some changes to my Exchange 2010 server and I have problem with synchronizing Outlook. I am able to add account to Outlook, all settings from autodiscover are correct. After opening Outlook synchronization start, but stops every time with This folder is up to date. It does not return any error. I verified messages, calendar and contacts transferring and it is ok. Also Connectiviry analyzer did not find any issue. After long time, I canceled this synchronization manually and it went to All folders are up to date. After small moment it is trying to synchrize address book. There is same problem. It does nothing. I also tried to manually download offline address book and it stops with Preparing for send/receive. In past days, I made these changes to my server: 1/ Changed autodiscover method from CNAME redirecting to SRV. 2/ Changed SSL settings for OAB at IIS to do not require SSL. 3/ Redirect default web site to another domain - this setting is not inherited, it redirects all not locally found pages I think that´s all. Which setting can cause this issue? Before this issue Outlook synchronized without problem, it took short time and went to All folders are up to date state.

Hi Does it happen internally or externally? Can you please do "Test E-mail Autoconfiguration" with outlook and paste us result. I would like to see this part "OAB URL:https://...." Regards Matjaz

I try it externally. <OABUrl>https://domain.com/OAB/01d91958-a90d-4775-9695-92c02ab526f3/</OABUrl>

Last changed what was performed was adding <generatePublisherEvidence enabled="false" /> to these files: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Aspnet.Config C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\Aspnet.Config It was for speeding up OWA loading.

The problem was solved. File oab.xml in browser returned error 500. I set read and execute permissions for authenticated users to web.config in OAB folder. The file was probably recreated, because it worked before.
