Outlook stops running, prompts the user that microsoft is looking for a solution, it doesn't and has to shutdown
an outlook update seems to be the common factor: KB2956128. every time i remove the update the problem goes away, but the update always re-installs at a later time. is there a patch for this? or is there a good way to block this particular update? my machines are controlled by a generic update policy in A.D. to install important updates only.

Hi

if you have Admin rights you should be able to modify how you want to receive updates.

If you do not have admin rights, once the issue is back download combo fix and let it run.

Give it a restart and see what happens

Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now
