Hi, Many times outlook search not giving proper output. If we use subject line of mail from particular folder and tried to serach in that folder only using search option by pasting subject line it doesnt giving any output. eg last time we tried subject line - RE: Query Received from FSSAI  -Glace X

If we remove the X letter then outlook starts giving search output but still we didnt get the proper output. Then if we remove -Glace also then it gives proper output.

OS - windows 8 Pro 64 bit

Office 365 - version 15.0.4675.1003

Please help.

Try re-indexing from indexing option . I had the same problem once.

This issue happens because you are searching for a string that contains spaces. We need to enclose the string by using double quotes:

"RE: Query Received from FSSAI  -Glace X"

This will return the result you want.
