hi ppl, i'm currently facing a problem with a DL in which i need to delegate the permission for the user to modify the DL, both the user and the DL is in the same domain and i've given the write members rights to the user through powershell and provide the manage by manager allow to update list in AD to the user but still the user is not able to modify the DL and have error with "Changes to the distribution list membership cannot be saved. You do not have sufficient permission to perfom this operation on this object." FYI the user is not in the DL list. Need advice regarding this. Thank you.

Is the user mail enabled? If not try mail enabling the user.

Check the user's effective rights on the group in AD.Make sure his account is in the Manager field of the group.Check the AdminCount on the user.
