Outlook losing connection to Exchange due to D-Link Router
I'm posting this to help others who may experience the same problem. I own a D-Link DIR-615 (Rev. C) wireless-N router. Upon updating the router's firmware to version 3.12NA, Outlook (on all my computers) started losing the connection to Exchange Server. This continued for approximatley 2 weeks and stopped happening immediately upon reverting the firmware to version 3.11NA. I'm running Outlook 2007 on all computers and they are set to connect to Exchange via HTTP.

If it were me, I'd roll back to the previous version of router firmware. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." . For what it's worth, I had several rounds of the very, very slow email support from D-Link (several days between replies), where they made a few reasonable suggestions. None worked. I've also spent several hours tinkering with the settings on my one and still, nothing. I finally broke down, went to the big box store, bought a new $80 Netgear router and within minutes my problems with maintaining connectivity with Exchange vanished. Bottom line is, no matter what I did, I could not get the problem resolved with the D-Link router. I don't know if it's a general firmware issue or what, but from what I've seen from postings by others all over the web with the same issue, no one has been able to fix this. . . . without having to buy a different brand router that is.
