Outlook logging getting created automatically

I'm running Office 2013 Pro (64 bit) on Windows 7 (64 bit) platform. My system is running in a domain.

Earlier we were running on Microsoft Exchange and recently we have shifted to Google Apps. I've configured POP3 Account on Outlook 2013. Since yesterday log files are getting populated in %temp% under folder Outlook Logging. Each file sized around 7MB.

Outlook logging (Info-> Options-> Advance-> Others) is unchecked and still log files are getting populated.

Within 2-3 hours its consuming whole of the free space in C drive (around 31 GB).

No changes have been made in settings of Outlook.

Please suggest a solution for the same.

Hi,

In theory, when we untick the 'Enable troubleshooting logging' option, Outlook will stop creating log files. Please note: Disable/enable troubleshooting logging requires starting Outlook.

Are you in an environment with GPOs deployed? When you change the registry key EnableLogging to 0 in the following location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Options\Mail

Will it change back to 1 after you reboot your computer?

In addition, please test this issue in a non-domain environment to check if the issue persists.

Please let me know the result.
