Outlook is disconnecting when enabling windows firewall on Exchange CAS servers

We have an issue of outlook get disconnected when windows firewall is enabled on Exchange 2013 CAS servers

Hi,

Define "enabled". Its not supported to stop the Windows Firewall service. It should always be running and should have been running during the original Exchange setup as that allows setup to set the correct firewall ports.

Check that the ports are open and you can telnet onto the ports which are listed in the above link, especially 443 and 80. Do this with the windows firewall service started and the firewall disabled.
