Outlook ignoring print settings?

I have a networked printer that a user is printing to. The networked printer does held jobs; The user tells the computer to print, it sends the info to the printer, printer holds onto it until a user walks over and enters their name and code, printer lets them select which documents to print. The user can do held jobs in everything she needs to except for outlook.

She emailed me about it

Whenever someone emails with an attachment that came from fax core, I open the email, then I open the attachment . I try to print the attachment and it does not get held. When I just print anything else it will hold.
All other programs will hold print jobs just fine. If she prints from something else it will get held but then if she prints from outlook it is not held. Any suggestions?

Hi,

How did the user print an attachment? Did she open the attachment directly and then press print?

When we want to print an attachment in Outlook, we need to follow the steps below:

Click the attachment icon below the message header, and then on the Attachments tab, in the Actions group, click Quick Print.

To print attachments when you print a message, first make sure that the Print attached files option is selected. After this setting is turned on, it remains on until you turn it off.

  1. In the message list, click the message that has attachments that you want to print.

  2. Click the File tab.

  3. Click Print.

  4. Under Printer, click Print Options.

  5. In the Print dialog box, under Print Options, select the Print attached files check box.

Or, we can save the attachment to local and then print it from local disk.

Which application did she use to print the attachment?

When she normally prints something from this application, does it work correctly then?
