Outlook iOS Critical Issues

I have been unable to find support for this as of yet, but as a company we are experiencing some critical issues with the Outlook for iOS devices.

We have 70 iPads that were passed out to Sales Employees, and we set up their Exchange Accounts. The Exchange accounts added without any issues and all e-mails were downloaded.

After about 1 to several hours, they started receiving e-mails sent to other Exchange employee users. I would send an e-mail to person A, it would end up going to person B, and when person B told me I had the wrong person, the e-mail headers said it was coming from person A.

Also someone sent an e-mail to one person, and about 5 different iPads with different employees all got the same e-mail.

Also each of these users are able to send on behalf of each other, even though in Exchange (we are using Exchange 2010), they do not have any Send on Behalf, Delegate, or Full Access permissions of each other.

Where do I begin to get support?

Also, this is only with the Outlook app. The regular mail app in iOS works fine. This problem only started happening when using Outlook for iOS.

Just an update on my end, Microsoft released Outlook 1.3.3 in the Appstore today.

Description: Bug fixes!

"Some users had problems with the last release. We're pretty certain that this fixes it. Thanks for your patience."

We are testing this update as a company and hope that it fixes this strange issue.

Hi,

I'm glad to hear there is an update and hope the update will fix the issue for you!

As in this forum we mainly provide suggestions about Outlook client on Windows, to access support from within your app, follow the steps below.

  • Tap Settings
  • Scroll down to 'Help'
  • Tap 'Contact Support'

The other option is to post the question in the more appropriate forum below:

Thank you Melon Chen!

I am not entirely sure the update fixed it. I just got a report that someone has started receiving another user's e-mail with the latest update. I did the Contact Support but have not heard back. Thank you for providing the correct forum. I will go there.
