Outlook from Office Small Business 365

I recently installed Outlook 2013 from Office Small Business 365 on my new Dell computer.  Windows 8 pro.  No other programs newly installed.  I attempted to connect with my godaddy email account but can't.  It connects fine following to outlined steps on godaddy's website, however when attempting to send a test email...no good.  I get an error message.  What gives?  Godaddy support confirmed all the sever settings and we tried several port settings, 80, 3535 and 25.  Never worked.  Please help.

Meanwhile, please let us know the exact error message when you attempt to send a test email.
