Outlook for Mac 2011 Sent Items Sync Issue (Bug introduced in 14.4.5)

Hi,

A number of people has noticed since Outlook 2011 14.4.5 Q4 of 2014, Exchange users can no longer move / delete emails in sent items. When they attempt to move emails it will be copied out instead.

My current Outlook version is 14.4.9.

I was advised to create this post hopefully someone can help.

Hi,

I'm using 14.5.0, and the bug is still here.

In addition: when deleting mails from the sent items folder, mails get deleted from the local folder (residing on your Mac) but will not be synced (removed) to the Exchange server. We're running a on premise server here.

Hopefully this will get solved soon. It's extremely annoying.

Hi,

I understand that there seems to be an issue on Outlook for Mac 2011, however, in the current forum we discuss questions and feedbacks about Outlook for Windows, I don't have the environment to reproduce this issue or guarantee any fix about Outlook for Mac.

Please forcus in the Office for Mac forum regarding this issue:

1) You need to speak to the team who deals with the Facebook Microsoft Page because they were the ones who directed me to this link.

2) Your reply is obviously NOT an answer so do not mark it as an answer!

3) If you do not have the environment then speak to your manager to buy yourself a Macbook and get a license key for MS Office 2011 for mac and install it. Update office to newest version. Add an Exchange 2013 account.
Now try duplicating the issue.

Hi,

I'd like to help but it's about the forum scope, we support Office for Windows in this forum only. Apparently the one who directed you here is not familiar with our scope. I apologize for the inconvenience but please post Office for Mac related issues to the forum I mentioned above, I appreciate your understanding.
