Outlook deleted all my emails for the past year and is now deleting them as they arrive in. How can I stop it?

I have Office 365 and Windows 8. Suddenly today Outlook deleted all my emails from the past year. They are not in the deleted items or trash folder. Now it is automatically making them disappear as they arrive into my inbox.

How can I stop it and recover them? Curiously it does not appear to have deleted any which were in a sub folder? Please help.

Hi,

In case it is a view issue, please start Outlook with the switch "/cleanviews":

Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /cleanviews" in the blank box, press Enter.

Then the view will be reset, check if these emails can be found.

Sometimes AutoArchive may also make the emails "missing", please check if you have setup AutoArchive in Outlook, possibly these emails are stored in an Archive file(.pst).

You can refer to the introduction of AutoArchive from this kb below:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/830119

If the issue persists, please logon OWA/Webmail, let me know if these missing emails are still available on web.
