Outlook crashes when trying to search

Hello,

I am an IT specialist working for a non-profit corporation.  I have a colleague whose Outlook 2013 (ran on Exchange Server 2013) keeps crashing every time she tries to do a search within a shared calendar.  This does not happen when she accesses her own calendar, just when she tries to search for an item in a shared calendar. I have tried deleting and re-adding her profile, deleting the shared calendars and re-adding them.  I know that we have 64-bit version of Office running on MS Server 2012 R2 (accessed through a thin client equipped w/ remote desktop), and that this can be a known problem with Office.  I have not had any other calls about the same issue with anyone else.  I've tried searching for this in many forums, but haven't found anyone who has had the exact same issue.  I've also tried searching for this particular exception code. Any advice or ideas would be helpful and appreciated.  Below is a small summary of the warning when the application crashes:

MS OUTLOOK Stopped Working
Problem Signature:
APP CRASH
APP EXE
Exception Code: C0000005
Exception Offset:  00000000003970e3
Locale ID: 1033

Thanks for any help offered.  -SM

Don't have an answer but the following info additional may prove useful to others who see this

#1 - Does this issue occur only for this one individual searching the same shared calendar?
#2 - Did searching this shared folder ever work for this person?
#3 - What, if any, 3rd party addins are in play?
#4 - If answer to item #1 is <no> - have you tried repairing Office?

Hi,

How many shared calendars does your colleague open? Please make sure she doesn't have multiple shared calendar opened at the same time. Try just opening the shared calendar she wants to search in and then searching to see if Outlook will crash again.

In addition, do you have the "Download shared folders" option enabled under Account Settings? If not, please enable the option and then try searching again. To enable the option, go to File > Info > Account Settings > Account Settings, double click your Exchange account, click More Settings button > Advanced tab, tick the check box before "Download shared folders" under "Cached Exchange Mode Settings" heading.

Please let me know the result.
