Outlook contacts doesn't sync with Exchange contacts

Dear All,

I have an issue with my mailbox contacts.

If I open my "contacts" properties, under "folder statistics" I see different values for the offline folder and the online folder (see the screenshot).

exchange contacts

I can see all contacts only from OWA.

I have tried to re-create the Outlook profile, but the problem has not been fixed.

I don't receive any warning about the synchronization.

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks ;-)

Seems like you have a synchronization filter in place? Or the "cache slider" is set to some value other than "all"?

Hi,

The usual cause would be a filter on the view - list view (assuming on filter on it) would show everything.

If the list view doesn't show all, right click on the calendar folder, choose Properties. Verify no filters on the Synchronization tab then click Clear offline items button on the General tab.

If this doesnt help, try the following methods.

1. Switch outlook to online mode.

2. Click Send/Receive all folders button under SEND/RECEIVE tab to re-synchronize Outlook folders.

3. Start outlook with outlook.exe /cleanviews command.

Best Regards.

Hi,

no synchronization filters was set.

I have fixed the problem using another PC where no email profile was set before.

From that PC, I was able to see all contacts and I have removed them.

Then, from my usual PC, the synchronization is ok now.

What can be happened?
