Outlook client disconnects when user changes their password

Problem: Exchange Online user is unable to use Outlook 2010 SP2 client when they change their password. User changes their password by expiration or resetting it manually, resulting in the Outlook client failing to connect and then Outlook moves into "disconnected state".

Has anyone had a similar problem as described above? If not, any suggestions would be appreciated :)

If you click on the 'Disconnected' status, does it launch a prompt for you to enter the new password?

Hi,

I agree with Silvia, we need to know if the users have tried to input the new password and whether the problem persists if they input the new password.
