Outlook calendar items and Exchange server
Morning all, We are having a small problem that I hope someone may be able to shed some light on. Wehad two employess on our network that have been deleted from the exchange server for quite sometime now. However, when some users within the division use Outlook's calendar features for meetings they are receiving the following message (Both Edna and Tannis have been removed from Exchange at least 6 months ago, maybe more. Thank you in advance for your time. Sounds like someone created a delegate and forwarding of meeting invitations to that delegate. Once you figure out who is the culprit, log on to the mailbox and remove the dead SID from its delegates. MJK

Hi akg414s Thanks for your reply. Yes, sorry I should have mentioned that that was my first thought as well. But .... I cannot find the "culprit". I don't think this is the problem. Any other ideas????????

I would check to see if someone has them in their personal address book. Especially in a Locally created group.

Hi, As the akg414s said, the most likely cause of this issue the who set the two users as the delegate, or the two users still existed in the AD. For the delegate, please understand that the delegate is represented by a rule that is hidden in the mailbox, it will be there even though you had removed from the Outlook client. Now there is tool could resolve this issue. Please use this tool to check the rule should be Schedule+EMS Interface http://support.microsoft.com/kb/253557 After that, please check this issue. If the issue persists, please use ADSI Edit to check whether the non-existent user has been deleted completely. Then locate the user account by going to the following location: DC= Domain Name, DC=com, CN=Users, CN=<non-existent user account>. If there is, please delete it. Regarding the ADSI Edit tool, please locate it in the installation file of Exchange, you can view the article as the reference. http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/ebca3324-5427-471a-bc19-9aa1decd3d401033.mspx?mfr=true Thanks Allen
