Outlook asks Constantly credentials in Exchange 2013

Hi, I have an Exchange 2007 SP3 Exchange 2013 SP1 and CU15 CU8.

When I migrate a mailbox from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013, the Outlook client connects credentials properly but calls constantly.

In the configuration of connections Oulook, I see that when there are calls credentials connections that are trying to connect to Public Folders:

Sess Type: foregorund and Background
Connection: HTTPS
Type: Public Folders and References

Hi

Please removed the Public Folder database points from all the Exchange 2013 Databases. To do it, we can use ADSIedit.msc and remove the arrtibute - msExchHomePublicMDB from all the Databases:

1. Open ADSIEdit.

2. Connect to the Configuration container.

3. Expand Configuration, expand CN=Configuration,DC=Domain,DC=com.

4. Expand CN=Services -> CN=Microsoft Exchange -> CN=Domain -> CN=Administrative Groups -> CN=Exchange Administrative Group -> CN=Databases.

5. In the right hand pane you will see a list of databases.

6. Right-click the listed database object -> Properties.

7. Check whether the msExchHomePublicMDB value is set to an unavailable value. If you see reference to the old database, please clear the value.

8. Click OK.

9. Check the rest of the databases to make sure that they are not populated in the same way.

Thanks for answering Winnie Liang, I have applied the article that tells me Ed:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn690134(v=exchg.150).aspx

http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2014/11/07/on-premises-legacy-public-folder-coexistence-for-exchange-2013-cumulative-update-7-and-beyond.aspx

But the result is the same.

I saw that all databases Exchange 2013 mailboxes are assigned as PublicFolderDatabase Database Public Folder Exchange 2007.

Then I delete references to PublicFolderDatabase als databases Exchange 2013? Do not stop working anything else in the system?

I have to erase from ADSedit? there is no command to put value "$ null" this parameter in databases Exchange 2013?

Winnie Liang Hello, I deleted the parameter you mention me in one of the databases of mailboxes Exchange 2013, I have forced the replication of domain controllers and have found that the PublicFolderDatabase parameter was empty on that database.

I tried to connect to a mailbox that has been migrated from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 and that is in the mailbox database does not have the PublicFolderDatabase value set.

The result is the same, is trying to connect to the Exchange 2007 server but requests credentials continuously.

This only happens with the migrated mailboxes from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013, if I create an Exchange 2013 mailbox directly in this circumstance does not occur.

Hello everybody, at the end checked the RPC virtual directory settings, the iis Exchange 2007 CAS.

In some CAS it was configured anonymous authentication and not in others.
I enabled the anonymous authentication servers where it was not configured and everything works properly
