Outlook Web Access error
I installed .NET 3.5 SP1 update and when the server restarted OWA no longer works and neither to our windows mobile cell phones. I have uninstalled the update but it still does not work. Any ideas? below is the full error message. Outlook Web Access encountered an unexpected error and was unable to handle your request. Hi,Please try to assign the .NET 2.0 to the virtual directories of Exchange. Then restart IIS and check if it works.Regards,Johanblog: www.johanveldhuis.nl

I installed .net 3.5 sp1 and the following error has come up any ideas? I uninstalled it and I'm having the same problems. I have checked the application pool and OWA is still set to .net framwork V2.0 clasic.

Hi,Please first check the authentication on the relevant Virutal Directory which included Exchange, Public, Exchweb and OWA. Then implement the Step1 in the below article to remove the Virtual Directory and recreate them.http://support.microsoft.com/?id=941201After that, please restart IIS and check this issue.ThanksAllen

I am running Exchange 2007 64 bit and server 2008 64 bit does this change any thing? Hi,Please understand that the steps is the same for different Windows Server.Did you remove the OWA VD and recreate it as the link stated? If already did and the issue persists, please take the below article to reinstall IIS for Exchange 2007.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320202ThanksAllen

I have gone through the above document (320303) using the Exchange 2007 part and steps 1-3 work well and that has restore active scynk win our smart phones but OWA still does not work. If I do step 4 (Step 4: Re-create the IIS virtual directories to restore links with the Exchange 2007 Mailbox role) OWA still does not work and active synk goes down to.any ideas?

Hi Peter, Can you try restoring web.config from backup or from a good machine to c:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\OWAlet me know how it goes.Ketanbhut@gmail.comSBS
