Outlook Sent items Still Active for Editing or Sending
I have Outlook 2013 on laptop.  Godaddy IMAP email server. I recently reinstalled Office 2013 after purchasing Office 365.  Prior to that my Sent Items folder collected sent items and they were "closed" so to speak.  At some recent point in time I noticed items in Sent item folder start showing 0 bits for size, no attachment icon and the actual sent item in the preview pane appears "active". i can edit the item in the Sent Items folder or hit send and it will resend and delete the original sent item and not copy it to the deleted items folder or retain it in the Sent Items folder, the "resent" item is kept in the Sent Items folder.

Hi,

Did you import the old emails into the account?

If you create a new Outlook Profile to setup the account, does the issue persist?

I suggest you start Outlook in Safe Mode to test:

Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the Run dialog, press Enter.

If there is no such issue in safe mode, disable the suspicious add-ins in Outlook to verify which one caused the issue.

Hi,

This type of problem is occurs when all the following conditions are true: -

1.    Your Outlook profile is configured in online mode (not cached Exchange Mode).

2.    You have the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value set to 1.

You can solve this issue by using one of the following methods:
-
1.    Change the value of DelegateSentItemsStyle to 0 in the registry.

2.    Change your profile to cached mode.

Regards
