Outlook Send/Receive POP/SMTP Errors
Exchange 2007 Server My SMTP/POP Outlook clients are all have an error message when they send / receive. Everything was working normally for many months until this morning. I have tried rebooting the server but did not change the situation. I am sending / receiving on the server connected Outook clients normally. I am able to telnet into Exchange on ports 25, 587, 110 from a PC that has error connecting issue. I am stumped. Suggestions? Outlook Connection Error messages "Task 'mail.xxxx.xxx' - Receiving reported error (0x800ccc0f): The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues contact your administrator or internet Service Provider (ISP). "Task 'mail.xxxx.xxx' - Sending reported error (0x80042106): The operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to receive this message contact your administrator or internet Service Provider (ISP). NC Beach Bum

Hi, For this issue, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot the problem: 1. Check the setting on your Firewall and Anti-virus software. 2. As this problem also can be caused by damaged profile, please create a new profile to have a try. If the issue persists after you do the steps above, please feel free to let me know and I will be glad to help. Best Regards, Evan
