Outlook RPC/HTTPS Settings
In Outlook 2007 (with Exchange 2007) what do I configure on Exchange so that the outlook client when it creates the profile using auto discover for the first time how do I set it so that the client is configured for NTLM authentication and not basic? tools > account settings > change > more settings > connection > exchange proxy settings > proxy authentication settings? Thanks!

you have to modify the autodiscover SCP using the set-outlookconfig cmdlet. Not sure of the exact syntax of the top of my head, but there is an authentication switch you can set to NTLM.

i checked the set-outlookprovider and can't find any authentication settings for it? i see some for the set-exchangewebservices -defaultauthenticationmethod:ntlm
