Do you have an SSL certificate on the server? If not then you need to so that you can use SSL with OMA. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.

FYI, OMA doesn't use RPC-over-HTTPS and it doesn't use HTTPS either. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Hi, When you try to access a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 computer by using Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile Access or Exchange ActiveSync, you may experience connection or synchronization problems. These issues can occur if either of the following conditions is true: 1. The Exchange virtual directory on an Exchange back-end server is configured to require SSL. 2. Forms-based authentication is enabled. So your problem appeared. However, these issues do not occur if these same conditions are true on the Exchange virtual directory on a front-end server. For more information, please refer to the link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817379/en-us Hope it helps. Hi Sphia thanks for the hint however, let me shed light on the following: 1. VD on my single (backend server) exchange have require ssl unchecked 2. Form based is not enabled as the feature has been configured on our ISA server Does it mean Exchange 2003 cannot handle Outlook Mobile Access, or is just me missing something?? Thanks

That's correct. It's just a plain old HTML application. >how does settings should look like?, i know is an old methond Settings for what? On the phone you just use whatever browser is present and navigate to http://yoursevername/oma, just as you did from your desktop's browser. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

You were able to use OMA from your desktop browser, so if it worked then your mailbox must be on Exchange 2003. If FBA is required on your ISA server for the OMA virtual directory then that's probably where your problem lies. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

>Does it mean Exchange 2003 cannot handle Outlook Mobile Access, or is just me missing something?? You should enable the below two settings in Exchange VD on front-end server.
