Outlook Freezes when receiving emails

I am on Office 365 for exchange, and using the 365 Office/Outlook 2013 client. Whenever i receive emails into my inbox, my client freezes up no matter what i'm doing. Typing an email and all of a sudden it freezes until the email that is coming in is totally received. I have tried to turn off the little notification window in the lower right corner, but can't seem to make it work.

What else can i do to try and improve this?

Hi

can you start outlook in safe mode (click start run -> outlook /safe) or can you update to the latest service pack and updates and check if it still freezes?

Hi,

According to your description, please try to disable hardware graphics acceleration(Outlook--File---Option---Advance) for testing. If it works well, it indicate that we need to update display card driver to latest version.
