Outlook Folder.Folders Sort Outlook 2007

VBA in Outlook 2007

Is there a way to sort folder.folders?

I have folders under Contacts and subfolders within those.  In a userform I've added the folder names to a listbox, but I'd like the list be in alphabetical/hierarchical order.  What's more, I'd like the subfolders to appear underneath their parent folders, which they are not.

Example:  Under Contacts I have 3 folders: Blue, Green & Purple.  Under Blue there's Black & Red and under Red there's Pink.

On the listbox they appear in this order: Blue, Purple, Green, Black, Red, Pink

I'd like them to appear in this order:  Blue, Black, Red, Pink, Green, Purple.

Thanks in ad

In Outlook 2007 UI, there is no way to sort the folder by alphabetical/hierarchical/Color order.

If you want to do it by VBA coding, better to post your question to the forum for Outlook Developer Forum, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us.
