I have recently installed the latest Outlook Connector Beta (12.0.4518.1063) to my Vista powered laptop to use with Outlook 2007. When using the program no errors are displayed and i'm receiving and sending emails fine. The problem arises when I log into Windows Live (hotmail) directly via internet explorer. Any changes i've made through Outlook don't seem to be reflected at all. The email's i've moved/deleted are still in the inbox displaying as unread and it seems that none of my changes have updated... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Outlook Connector Beta is a tool by Microsoft used to create a copy of all your emails from your inbox to your local computer. It works exactly how a POP3 email account works. A local copy of all the mails, contacts and calendar would be created, all the changes that you have made are reflected on the local computer only and not on the hotmail inbox. Thus the behavior that you are facing is normal and expected. I would recommend that you can either use Outlook Connector Beta and dont look at how the mails are in your hotmail inbox. And then once a while change the status for all the mails in your hotmail inbox to read. Please let me know if you still have any concerns regarding Outlook Connector Beta

Thanks for your reply Harpreet however this isn't correct. Until my old laptop died a few weeks back I had Outlook connector installed on it and it managed to keep both my Outlook and Hotmail Inbox in sync...
