Outlook Blank Mail

I send out regular mails through Outlook which are saved in .msg format on the desktop. I just click on the file, fill in any additional info and the recipient etc. Similar to using a template but with .msg file rather than .oft. Usually there is a file attached. We have been doing this without issue for years in Office 365 and before in Outlook 2013. We have just upgraded to Windows 10 and now have the following issues.

If I use the saved .msg file it is sent with all content removed from the body. The Subject line and any attachment are intact but the body is blank.

If I try to do the same thing with .oft it will not save as HTML. I can save it as Rich text and that works OK except the attachment is then placed in the email body.

Repeat - all issues have followed the upgrade to Windows 10. Any suggestions

I've run into the same issue with two of my users. Again, Office 365/Outlook 2013.

We're using Windows 7 though.

They open up a .msg file, fill out a bit more information, then send, and it arrives blank.

We have other users that are not affected by this issue as well.

Hi,

We can reproduce this issue in Outlook 2013 on both Windows 7 and Windows 10. Please check the email in your Sent Items folder, you will notice that the email body is blank, which means the emails were delivered with blank email body on your side.

We are not sure if this is the expected behavior or a limitation since we haven't found any documentation stating this. We are researching on this issue now, and I'll submit a feedback regarding this issue to Microsoft via internal way.

Please try sending emails using .oft file as a temporarily workaround.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
