Outlook Anywhere continually prompts for credentials
Hey guys....I'm going nuts here.here is my configuration for the server;Microsoft Server 2008 StandardExchange 2007OWA EnabledOutlook Anywhere EnabledGo Daddy OCC SSL CertificateI am able to connect using OWA and internal mail using outlook just fine with the SSL cert. My problem is with Outlook Anywhere access. I am able to connect using Outlook Anywhere with one user using Windows 7, but the others I cannot even with that same user using Windows XP. The furthest I can get is confirming their account using the "Check Name" feature since it will actually underline it but will then proceed to prompting for credentials all the time even if they are the correct credentials.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Did u check same maillbox using www.TestExchangeConnectivity.com? Also have u checked this user has Offline Address Book set, u can confirm it by Get-Mailbox mailboxEmailAddress |fl OfflineAddressBook I had similar issue, when one of my mailbox didnt have OAB set and having pwd prompts repeatedly. This is really strange that same mailbox is working from windows 7 but not from XP machine. Regards,Laeeq Qazi|Team Lead(Exchange + Sharepoint + BES + DynamicsCRM) www.HostingController.com

Thanks for the reply.I have run the www.testexchangeconnectivity.com and found that the "Testing SSL mutual authentication with RPC Proxy server" had failed where the common name on the SSL certificate did not match the principal name on the CAS. I have since reissued my SSL cert with GoDaddy and made the common name my mail server's DNS name.I now pass the mutual authentication step but am now faced with the "Attempting to Ping RPC Proxy mail.mydomain.com" and recieve error, "Cannot ping RPC Proxy - A Web Exception occurred because an HTTP 401 - Unauthorized response was received from Unknown" I have changed the authentication method to both NTLM and Basic on IISAuthenticationMethod and I am able to browse the rpc virtual directory in IIS.All users are able to use OWA and internal mail just fine. I also do not use ISA Server and run a single 2008 server DC.Any suggestions from here?
