Outlook Anywhere Settings Enabled and Populated for non-OA users
Hi, In my organization we have one primary Exchange servers with all roles installed on it. There is a secondary exchange server in a child domain that has the CAS and MBX roles installed. OA is enabled on the secondary exchange servers and works fine for those users who are OA users. OA is disabled on the primary server. We are noticing a lot of users who are on the Primary exchange server are getting Outlook Anywhere enabled in their outlook client and the exchange proxy settings populated. Is there a way to avoid users who are on the primary box to have their OA enabled automatically? This is causing problems for non-OA users because they are getting prompts for their credentials. The primary server is running Exchange 2007 SP3 and secondary is on Exchange 2007 SP1. Thanks for your help!

Try this: http://msexchangegeek.com/2011/01/05/disabling-outlook-anywhere-per-user/ You could adjust the commands to Get mailboxes from that particular server or databases on that server to pipe into the Set-CasMailbox command, Tim Harrington | MVP: Exchange | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010, MCITP: Server 2008, MCTS: OCS | Blog: http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com | Twitter: @twharrington

As an additional information, you can also refer to the following article to manage Outlook Anywhere. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123513(EXCHG.80).aspx Hope it helps.
