Outlook Anywhere / Offline Address book / Autodiscover Service
Server: Exchange 2007sp2Clients: Outlook 2007 & Beta 2010I have OA up and working, but the only thing is the OAB cannot be downloaded from OA clients. I have an A record in DNS that points autodiscover.newmarcorp.com to the same IP as my webmail & outlook anywhere IP. I have tried using the Outlook connection test, and unchecked the guessmart, and secure guessmart. In the log I see that the autodiscover returned the internal URL of my OAB, but I have a different internal / external OAB URL. Can I edit something in the XML to tell the autodiscover service that my OA clients need to use the external OAB URL and not the internal OAB URL. I know OA is supposed to make it look like they are internal - but my internal OAB URL cannot be access from outside my firewall.

I suppose it was my own wrong doing. I set the OAB URL equal to what I have the users connect to using Outlook Anywhere. As soon as I changed it to autodiscover.newmarcorp.com and restarted IIS it started working. I wonder if it's hard coded to look for that name and not an alias. All is well - thanks for the input!
