Outlook Anywhere - autodiscover.domain.com - the name on the security certificate is invalid...

I've got an SRV record so I can use their single name cert for autodiscover.

Internally, everything is working fine. Externally it's working fine except that users need to hit Yes on a Security Alert prompt that is complaining that 'the name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site.'

Outlook anywhere is working fine and I already changed all the VD's to the name on the cert. Internal users do not see this prompt. Any ideas?

Is the host you're pointing to in the SRV record the same as what's in the certificate?

Hi Alceryes,

As Ed mentioned, you need to check if the SRV record match the name on the certificate.

I recommend you refer to the following articles to resolve the issue:

The Name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site

Ed and Niko,

Yes, the SRV record points to the name on the cert. The Outlook autodiscover test on MS remote connectivity analyzer passes.

In Outlook run Test Email Autoconfiguration and verify that all the URLs being presented match the certificate name.
